Job Description

Job Title: Warehouse Supervisor      
This position supervises the daily operations of warehouse and distribution departments by ensuring the development, implementation and compliance of all operational policies and procedures with special emphasis on ACHC, OSHA and FDA guidelines.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.  Other duties may be assigned. 
  • Responsible for overseeing purchasing related processes, explore and propose new and improved approaches for saving time and money.
  • Oversees shipping related activities, explores, implements alternative cost saving opportunities.
  • Oversees facilities and maintenance requirements and ensure warehouse interior and exterior is maintained in the cleanest, safest, most efficient manner.
  • Train, Coordinate and motivate Cleaning and Function Testing personnel.
  • Compiles and submit Performance Improvement requirements and recommendations.

Education/Experience: Education or experience equivalent to a high school diploma is required.  At least five years related experience is required.
Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Word Processing software.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Manages team of employees within the team. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these units. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems
