Job Description

Position Summary: The Patient Service Lead is the voice of the organization and is the primary resource for patients and physicians to obtain information and answers to questions. This position is primarily responsible for accurately, thoroughly and in a time-sensitive manner processing patient orders and providing clear and timely communication to all stakeholders.

Education/Experience: High School diploma or GED equivalency with 1-3 years of home infusion/home health experience preferred. Strong organization and communication skills.

Reports to: Patient Service Supervisor/Manager FLSA: Non-Exempt

ADA Requirements:

MENTAL DEMANDS: Proven skills in critical thinking and problem solving, strong analytical, numerical

and reasoning abilities. Detail oriented and responsible. Flexible and innovative thinking. Uses good

judgment and works well under pressure. Able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Occasional climbing, balancing, stooping, and crouching. Frequent standing,

walking, and sitting. Must be able to occasionally lift 10 pounds. Travel to outside locations, usually using

own vehicle.

MATERIALS AND SPECIAL EQUIPMENT USED: Telephone, computer, printer, fax machine, photocopier,

and calculator.
