Job Description

Position Summary: Responsible for growing key product areas as defined by management. Promotes company products and services with physicians, case managers, social workers, hospital personnel, home health agencies, and other traditional referral sources in a professional and creative manner. Performs quality assurance review of all paperwork to ensure proper ACHC, FDA, and HCFA compliance. Delivers and picks up equipment from homecare patients.

Education/Experience: Education or experience equivalent to a high school diploma is required. At least one year related experience is required. Must possess a valid Driver’s license. Must have documentation of a clean driving record within the last three years and a clean background check prior to employment. Will be subject to random drug tests.

Reports to: Area or the Region Manager FLSA: Non- Exempt/Exempt

MENTAL DEMANDS: Proven skills in critical thinking and problem solving, strong analytical, numerical and reasoning abilities. Detail oriented and responsible. Strong leadership qualities. Flexible and innovative thinking. Uses good judgment and works well under pressure. Able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Occasional climbing, balancing, stooping, and crouching. Frequent standing, walking, and sitting. Must be able to occasionally lift 50 pounds. Travel to outside locations, usually using company vehicle, as required for patient set ups, meeting and/or presentations.

MATERIALS AND SPECIAL EQUIPMENT USED: Telephone, computer, printer, fax machine, photocopier, and calculator.

ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS: Work usually performed in an office setting, community driving, and hospital and patient home environments. Incumbent may be exposed to infectious diseases and bodily fluid. Occasional exposure to elements such as odor, noise, dust, heat, cold, or chemicals.
