Job Description

Summary: The Patient Care Coordinator is responsible for growing key product areas as defined by management. This position promotes company products and services with physicians, case managers, social workers, hospital personnel, home health agencies, and other traditional referral sources in a professional and creative manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Performs quality assurance review of all paperwork to ensure proper ACHC, FDA, and HCFA compliance.
  • Delivers and picks up equipment from homecare patients.
  • Responsible for meeting branch revenue budget by servicing and growing business.
  • Respond to telephone inquiries and orders from referral sources and patients.
  • Performs quality assurance review of all paperwork to ensure proper ACHC, FDA, and HCFA compliance.
  • Sets up equipment and instructs patients on the basic use of equipment. Assists patients in solving problems regarding equipment use.

Education/Experience: Education or experience equivalent to a high school diploma is required. At least one year related experience is required. Must possess a valid Driver’s license. Must have documentation of a clean driving record within the last three years and a clean background check prior to employment. Will be subject to random drug tests.

Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Word Processing software.
