Position Summary:  The role of the L&D Manager is to develop and maintain curriculum, assessments and training materials in conjunction with the Training Specialists.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.  Other duties may be assigned. 
  • Ensure all Training Specialist are following the training program.
  • Provide motivation and confidence and to ensure accountability of Training Specialists through ongoing meetings, 1:1’s and training sessions.
  • Develop, maintain and update policies and procedures in cooperation with management.
  • Monitor all training activities based on branch and business unit needs for the assigned Training Specialist areas of coverage.
  • Develop and maintain an on-line resource center for all training materials, product information, payer information, FAQs, etc.
  • Plan and execute an annual Training Workshop.
  • Administer annual and quarterly surveys regarding the effectiveness of the Training Specialists and the Training Program.
  • Conduct Annual Performance Evaluations for Training Specialist.
Education/Experience:
  • Education or experience equivalent to a high school diploma is required.
  • College diploma is desirable. Minimum of five years’ office experience required.
  • Understanding of Home Healthcare required.
  • Knowledge of Medicare coverage requirements for applicable business unit desirable.
