Job Description

Summary:  IT Full Stack Software Developer II position will work on projects developed within the Microsoft stack of technologies.  The incumbent will be responsible to work with both current and legacy technologies, with responsibility to bring old code up to current standards, as well as building greenfield projects.  The incumbent will work independently and within a team to deliver successful projects.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.  Other duties may be assigned. 
  1. Use software development technologies to perform day to day tasks such as: C#, Javascript, MVC, ASP.NET, LINQ, Entity Framework, Dependency injection (IoC), OOP, Bootstrap, Web API 2, REST, jQuery and SQL
  2. Troubleshoot and perform bug fixes within and outside of projects.
  3. Provide input to IT team members and advise on production issues which relate to software development.
  4. Develop code for user stories within projects
  5. Participate in code review and identify learning opportunities or skill gaps
  6. Use standard development tools and processes such as TFS, Visual Studio, etc. to install, check code in & out, and map the project to their local machine.
  7. Setup, manage and maintain new applications/sites using IIS
  8. Participate in design/development of software architecture and environment
  9. Develop UI layouts
  10. Researches, finds, and implements reusable/dynamic solutions using all available tools (documentation, google, peers, etc.)
  11. Use technical writing skills for creation of documentation for team
  12. Provide technical guidance and code review for less experienced team members.
  13. Perform debugging in Visual Studio as well as in-browser debuggers
  14. Create medium complexity SQL Queries and utilize database tools such as SSMS
  15. Troubleshoot, support and migrate from older technologies such as Classic ASP

  1. inimum education and/or experience equivalent to either:
    Bachelor’s degree in relevant technology field with 2-4 years’ experience; OR
  2. Associates’ degree in relevant technology field with 6+ years’ experience; OR
  3. 8+ years’ experience if no degree; OR
  4. Combination of related experience and certifications resulting in ability to perform duties listed above.
  5. Healthcare and Logistics technology experience highly desirable.
    Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of a variety of software development tools, as well as standard Microsoft Office products.
