Finance Manager 
Phoenix, AZ 85034
Our high-growth firm is seeking an experienced and professional Finance Manager to join our team. This position will play a key role in providing transparency to operations and developing long-term financial security. The Finance Manager will collaborate with the executive management team to analyze enterprise finances, develop budgets & create forecasts which will provide a road map for success. This position will manage the financial and purchasing analysts. 
Responsibilities of the job include, but are not limited to:
  • Perform a variety of advanced financial analyses to determine present and forecasted financial health of the company
  • Use financial modeling to simulate financial scenarios
  • Present potential scenarios and outcomes to management team
  • Manage the preparation and publication of departmental and organization financial documents
  • Collaborate with management on development and execution of funding strategies
  • Mentor and professionally develop subordinates
  • Develop or recommend solutions for problems or situations
  • Preparing and interpreting reports, budgets, accounts, commentaries and financial statements
  • Undertaking strategic analysis and assisting with strategic planning
  • Producing long-term business plans
  • Undertaking research into pricing, competitors and factors affecting performance
  • Managing budgets, forecasts
  • Developing and managing financial systems/models
  • Carrying out business modelling and risk assessments
  • Supervising staff
  • Act as a liaison between managerial staff and colleagues.
  • Ad-hoc analysis
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.  
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.  Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.  Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. 
• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field required (MBA or CPA preferred)
• 5+ years’ experience in a financial management position
• Proven strategic planning experience at the management level
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Demonstrated creative and critical thinking skills
• Able to work on multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong communication and presentation skills
Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have extensive experience with MS Excel.  Must have knowledge of MS Word and Powerpoint, payroll systems, and internet software.   
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Manages team of employees within the decision support department. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these units. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
