Job Description

Summary: The Rehab Specialist is primarily responsible for properly fitting and/or delivering products according to patient needs; evaluate client needs and plan the status of pending work. 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.  Other duties may be assigned. 
  • Order products and parts for repairs; file purchase order for receiving.
  • Obtains information from the patient in regards to breakdown of equipment.
  •  Fills out forms for authorization and give to customer service to be keyed.
  •  Writes up delivery log and prepare paperwork for daily route.
  •  Gathers all equipment for deliveries, repairs, and fittings for the day.

Education/Experience: Education or experience equivalent to a high school diploma is required.  At least four years related experience is required.  Must possess registration or certification of the following:  Certified Rehab Technology Supplier (CRTS), Assistive Technology Supplier (ATS), and/or Assistive Technology Practitioner (ATP) as deemed by ACHC and CMS.
Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Word Processing software.
