Job Description

The Account Manager at Preferred Homecare is responsible for all sales activities in a specified territory. The Account Manager represents the company consistently to the referral community. Account Managers are accountable for territory sales activities that produce a consistent flow of new referrals.  Account Manager is directly responsible for profitable top line branch sales growth. Daily customer sales contact occurs with physicians, clinics, and other potential referral sources in the territory. Account Managers bring a steady stream of business opportunities to Preferred Homecare. An Account Manager is expected to bring new contracting opportunities to the company and may participate in the contract negotiation process. Spearheads daily interaction with General Manager, Field Sales Team, current referral sources, and targeted new referral sources.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • College degree or 5 years relevant selling experience
  • Minimum of two years work experience in the health care industry
  • Experience with customer service required
  • Knowledge of the territory and sales contacts preferred
  • Demonstrates leadership, and communicates effectively with branch personnel and local account team

REPORTS TO: Vice President of Sales and Marketing with additional responsibility to the Branch General Manager

FLSA: Exempt
